Dense Affordable Sponge for Face Painting
This sponge fits into Split cakes and is the optimum shape to create butterfly designs.

I did a white face paint for the hatter using the petal sponge to smooth & the sharp edge to apply in difficult places. I’m a beginner so it wasn’t perfect, but hey, I rocked it. It was great to apply more white where I needed it using the flat side, & to cover up errors in color areas.
I personally prefer to use these over the green sponges, I find it applies a more even coverage of face paint as there is less “air bubbles” in these black sponges. It also absorbs less face paint so your kits last longer.
Having been guilty of purchasing cheaper sponges you really notice the difference with pro ones. This is a firm sponge so much easier to keep your fingers clean when loading split cakes.
